3. Sidecar: This elegant cocktail is comprised of 1 1/2 parts Cognac, 3/4 part Cointreau Liqueur and 3/4 part lemon juice. Cognac has a savory and complex palette. If you replace the Cognac with something similar in palette like Scotch Whisky you'll get a Whisky Sidecar or an Aged Rum and you'll have a Boston Sidecar. Both of these will give you a new take to an old friend.
4. Margarita: This favorite pre-dinner cocktail is made with 1 1/2 parts Cazadores Tequila, 1 part Cointreau Liqueur, 1 part lemon juice and 1 part lime juice. As stated earlier with the Screwdriver you can substitute vodka and other white spirits to gain a new perspective on an old favorite. If you use vodka you'll enjoy a Kamakaze and if you substitute Rum you'll be sipping on a Bacardi Maragarita.
We hope you try and enjoy a few of these suggestions and encourage you to create your own new favorite cocktail by using a classic as your blueprint.
Cheers!
